How to Pay an Immigration Bond in Wyoming
If release on bond is allowed, the person can leave detention while the immigration case continues. They must still follow their hearing notices and other instructions.

We review the house at no cost. A mortgage does not automatically rule it out. You keep ownership, but a lien is recorded against the property, meaning it backs the bond. If ICE determines that the bond conditions were not followed, you may owe money under your agreement. The house can be at risk if that debt is not paid. Notary charges and the county fee to record the lien release are separate.
Pay ICE Directly
If you meet ICE's requirements, you can pay the full amount through its government payment process. You handle the steps yourself and do not pay Amistad's service or application fees. Follow ICE's current payment instructions.

How to Get Started With Amistad Bail Bonds

The A-Number is the immigration number on your family member's paperwork. We need it before submitting the bond to ICE.

Choose how to back the bond
We explain the costs and review the cash and house options. If you want to use a house, we must approve it first.

Complete the documents and payment
Fill out the application, review the agreement and make the required payment. If you use a house, the required owners sign the property document before a notary. Send us a clear scan for review and follow our instructions to mail the original with the prepaid FedEx label.

We confirm the details with ICE
When the documents and payment are complete, we ask ICE to confirm the bond information.

We submit the bond online
Once ICE confirms the details, we send the bond electronically. ICE must accept it before the release process can move forward.
How Long Does Release Take?
The time varies. After ICE accepts the bond, the facility still has steps to complete before the person can leave.
We can explain the status of the bond, but cannot promise a release time or same-day release. Confirm pickup instructions with the facility before traveling.
Be Careful With Same-Day Release Promises
No bond company can guarantee same-day release. ICE controls bond approval, and the detention center controls when the person can leave.

Wyoming Detention Information
Sweetwater County Detention Center is a county jail in Rock Springs that also holds people for ICE. Someone arrested in Cheyenne, Casper, Jackson or another Wyoming community may be moved to a different facility or state. Check where your family member is now before making travel plans.

The place holding your family member, an ICE office and the immigration court may be different locations. The detention address does not tell you which court handles your family member's case.
