    Sweetwater County owns and operates the detention center. ICE began housing detainees at this facility in 2006. Current federal detention oversight places the facility under the ICE Denver field structure. The facility can hold both male and female ICE detainees for periods longer than 72 hours. It is not an ICE-owned detention center.
