VIRGINIA IMMIGRATION BONDS

    Virginia Immigration Bonds

If someone you know is detained by ICE in Virginia, first confirm where they are being held. If ICE or an Immigration Judge has already set a bond amount, Amistad can explain the requirements and help you get started remotely.

    VIRGINIA DETENTION LOCATIONS

Where Is the Person Detained in Virginia?

Virginia currently has two primary detention facilities connected with ICE immigration custody.

Not Sure Where the Person Is Detained?

Do not assume someone is still near the place where they were arrested. A person taken into ICE custody in Richmond, Norfolk, Arlington, Alexandria or another Virginia community may later be transferred to Farmville, Bowling Green or another state. Use the locator before traveling.

    IMMIGRATION COURT

The Detention Facility and Immigration Court May Be Different

Current EOIR information connects both Farmville Detention Center and Caroline Detention Facility with:

    Court

    Annandale Immigration Court

7619 Little River Turnpike, Suite 400
    Annandale, VA 22003

Farmville and Caroline are listed as Virginia televideo sites. That does not mean every hearing requires a family member to travel to Annandale. Always use the person's current hearing notice and EOIR case information to confirm the individual case.

    Ready to Post the Bond?

If an immigration bond has already been set, call with whatever information you have. The person's name, A-Number, detention location and bond amount are the most helpful details.

Amistad Bail Bonds provides immigration bond services and is not a law firm. Bond eligibility and amounts are determined by DHS, ICE or an Immigration Judge with jurisdiction. Consult a licensed immigration attorney for advice about an individual immigration case.
