    People in ICE custody may be held in county detention centers across Kentucky. Select the location you recognize or use the locator guide if you are not sure.

    Use the person’s A-Number if you have it. You may also be able to search with their full legal name, country of birth and date of birth.

    IMPORTANT TRANSFER NOTICE

    The Arrest Location May Not Be the Detention Location

    A person taken into ICE custody in Louisville, Lexington or another Kentucky city may be held in a different county or transferred outside Kentucky.

    Confirm the current facility before traveling, sending mail or relying on visitation information.

    Handles certain custody, enforcement and bond-processing matters.

    3. Immigration Court

    Handles the immigration case and any bond hearing within its jurisdiction.

    Which Immigration Court Handles the Case?

    EOIR currently lists most Kentucky detention locations in the Memphis Immigration Court administrative-control information and maintains a Louisville hearing location. Grayson County appears separately in the Cleveland Immigration Court information.

    This does not mean every person will attend court in Memphis, Louisville or Cleveland. Always follow the hearing notice and verify the case through EOIR.
