IMMIGRATION COURT INFORMATION

How to Check Your Immigration Court Hearing

Use the ICE Portal to check the date, time and court location of an immigration hearing. You can search with the person's A-Number or Subject ID.

This search is for immigration court hearing information. It does not show where someone is detained or confirm an ICE check-in appointment.
    GETTING STARTED

What You Need Before You Search

    Have the following information ready:

    A-Number or Subject ID
    First name
    Last name
    Country of birth

The first and last names must match the government record exactly. Include hyphens and the complete last name when they appear on the person's documents.

    STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Choose How You Want to Search

You can search in two ways. Use the identification number available on the person's immigration documents.

    Option 1

    Search With an A-Number

An A-Number is the identification number found on many immigration documents, including a Notice to Appear.

    1. 1Open the Immigration Court Hearing Search.
    2. 2Select A-Number (File No.).
    3. 3Enter the nine-digit A-Number without the letter "A."
    4. 4Enter the first and last names exactly as they appear on the immigration documents.
    5. 5Select the country of birth.
    6. 6Complete the "I'm not a robot" verification.
    7. 7Select Continue.
If the A-Number has eight digits, add a zero at the beginning when the portal requires nine digits.

Select A-Number and enter the required information exactly as it appears on the immigration documents.
    Option 2

    Search With a Subject ID

Use this option if ICE provided a Subject ID instead of an A-Number.

    1. 1Open the Immigration Court Hearing Search.
    2. 2Select Subject ID.
    3. 3Enter the Subject ID. The portal accepts 7 to 9 digits.
    4. 4Enter the person's first and last names exactly.
    5. 5Select the country of birth.
    6. 6Complete the "I'm not a robot" verification.
    7. 7Select Continue.

Select Subject ID when ICE provided this number for the person's record.

    What Information Will You See?

If a matching court record is available, the results may show:

    Date of the next hearing
    Time of the hearing
    Immigration court location
    Available case information

Write down or save the hearing details. Check the information again before the hearing because dates, times or locations may change.

The Court Notice Is the Official Record

The online search is a helpful way to check current information, but notices and documents issued by the immigration court remain the official source.

If the online information is different from a recent court notice, or something is unclear, contact the immigration court handling the case.

What if the Search Does Not Find a Record?

    First, check that:

    • The A-Number or Subject ID was entered correctly.
    • The first and last names match exactly.
    • Any hyphenated last name was entered completely.
    • The correct country of birth was selected.

No result does not always mean there is no immigration case or future hearing. The case may not yet appear in the system, or the available information may be limited. Check again later and review any notices received from DHS or the immigration court.

Important: Bond Hearings May Not Appear

The search may not display information about a separate immigration bond hearing. If you specifically need the date or status of a bond hearing, contact the immigration court handling the case or speak with a licensed immigration attorney.

Amistad Bail Bonds cannot schedule, change or confirm a court hearing.
