ICE DETENTION HELP

    ICE Detention in Los Angeles

If someone you know was taken into ICE custody in the Los Angeles area, start by finding where they are being held. If a bond has already been set, Amistad can help you with the next steps.

Do You Know Which Facility They're In?

The place where someone was arrested or first contacted by ICE may not be where they are currently detained. Confirm the current detention facility before traveling or relying on facility-specific information.

    Were You Told Adelanto?

Adelanto has multiple ICE detention locations on Rancho Road. If you were told the person is in Adelanto, use our Adelanto guide for the exact facility, contact and immigration court information.

Were You Given a Downtown Los Angeles ICE Address?

The ICE ERO Los Angeles office at North Los Angeles Street is a government office and is not a detention facility. Don't assume the person is being held there.

ICE ERO Los Angeles Field Office — 300 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 (Phone: 213-830-7911)

If you don't know where the person is being held, use our locator guide before traveling.

    Which Immigration Court?

Los Angeles has more than one immigration court, and Adelanto has a separate immigration court at the detention complex. The person's official court information determines where their case is being handled. Current EOIR information includes multiple Los Angeles court locations, including North Los Angeles Street, West Los Angeles and Van Nuys.

Check the person's official court information or EOIR for the correct court location and current operational information.

    Bond Already Set?

If an immigration bond has already been set, call with the person's name, A-Number, current detention facility if known, and bond amount. You don't need to travel to downtown Los Angeles or the detention facility to start the Amistad process.
